Making A Demo Reel Video

***Remember that the purpose of a Demo Reel is to impress the audience with your skills and abilities shown through the works you have done! Also, Quality over Quantity!***

Step 1: Identify the best work you have done. [Due Wednesday, April 4]
-Make a new folder and gather your best work into them--Drag while holding down "alt" to copy/duplicate your file
-Have at least one peer share their opinion on what they think is your best work--you decide whether or not to incorporate their opinion.
-Based on your best works chosen, determine what kind of demo reel you want to present.

-Export Illustrator projects into a JPEG or PNG ("File" >> "Export..." >> change "Format" into JPEG or PNG >> "Export" >> "OK")
-Export Flash animations into SWF or MOV (SWF: Push "Command" Key + "Enter/Return" Key, MOV: "File" >> "Export" >> "Export Movie..." >> "Save" and wait for it to finish exporting >> "OK")
-SCREEN RECORD your flash gameplay and save it as a video file like MOV (http://osxdaily.com/2010/11/16/screen-recorder-mac/)

-Set up dimension: big enough to show off your projects clearly (No bigger than 1920 x 1080 and no smaller than 720 x 480) Keep in mind that bigger the size can mean longer time to export the project into a video file.

-Suggested Sizes: 1920 x 1080, 1280 x 720, 10240 x 576, 853 x 480
