App Design Project

Design and make an app icon using Adobe Illustrator. Process: 1. Sketch at least 5 rough thumbnail sketches to brainstorm ideas. 2. Choose your favorite design and draw a more clear concept. 3. Turn in the thumbnail sketches and the concept by Wednesday (11/15). [graded] 3. Make your design in Adobe Illustrator in black and white. [graded] 4. Turn your black and white logo into final color design. 5. Export your design as PNG 6. Add context to your app and make a presentation page (8.5"x11") 7. Turn in the (1)Presentation page, (2)PNG file of your app icon design and (3).ai (adobe illustrator) file of your logo design. Creativity : Utilizes the digital art medium to its full advantage, the art could not have been just photographed. 2. Statement: Audience could see the artist's statement in the art. 3. Resolution: Resolution is no smaller than 300 dpi. 4. Critique: The final art has undergone helpful changes using the critique and feedbacks it received. ZERO POINTS: The art uses images that are copyrighted, or, there was no digital art turned in. Final Draft is due Friday Nov 10! Designing School Catalogue for Advanced Students

Design a course catalogue cover for West Mesa High School for next year! Winner gets their cover design printed on the catalogue and will be credited inside the catalogue! First create your initial design on Photoshop or Illustrator and do it in layers, masks, etc so that it is easy to adjust and make changes to.
