Final: Holiday Living Room
Turn a normal living room image into a decorated living room for the holidays!
This Final will assess competency in following areas:
Able to isolate parts of the image to manipulate (via selection tools, free transform, etc)
Able to demonstrate a non-destructive editing (via mask tool, adjustment layer, etc)
Able to save files in appropriate format (i.e. PSD, JPEG, GIF, etc.)
Etc.
Requirements:
1. The project began with un-decorated living room image
2. The final product is a decorated living room for the holidays
3. There are 6 types of decoration categories (i.e. tree, stockings, presents, candles, garland, wreath, cookies, lights, etc)
4. Lighting of each object in the image is similar
5. None of the pixels were permanently deleted
6. Image is big enough to see what is going on
7. Each of the following are turned in:
-PSD of your decorated living room with all its layers,
-JPEG, PNG, or GIF of your decorated livingroom
-the un-decorated living room image you used
-all the images used in the project, especially the PNG images
****Additional Requirement for Advanced Students****
8. Turn your decorated living room into an animated GIF. There will be something moving in your image (i.e. fire flickering, lights changing color, santa's foot peeking out of fireplace, etc)
