Personalized 5 Weeks

The next five weeks, you will choose project(s) that you are interested in working on. Remember that you will be compiling your best works you created in this class and show them off in a video called "Demo Reel". Take a look at what you have worked on so far, and use the next five weeks to your advantage.

Week 1: Ends Tursday/Friday February 15-16
Week 2: Ends Monday/Tuesday February 27-28
Week 3: March 5-9
Week 4: March 12-16
Week 5: March 19-23

Each week you will turn in your project for a grade. If you are working on a project that takes more than a week to do, you will turn in your progress for that week.

Photoshop Effects and Photo Editing
Making Games in Flash
Learn to use After Effects Software and make motion graphics and video effects
Draw/Paint in Photoshop
Animate

Final: Holiday Living Room

Turn a normal living room image into a decorated living room for the holidays! This Final will assess competency in following areas: Able to isolate parts of the image to manipulate (via selection tools, free transform, etc) Able to demonstrate a non-destructive editing (via mask tool, adjustment layer, etc) Able to save files in appropriate format (i.e. PSD, JPEG, GIF, etc.) Etc. Requirements: 1. The project began with un-decorated living room image 2. The final product is a decorated living room for the holidays 3. There are 6 types of decoration categories (i.e. tree, stockings, presents, candles, garland, wreath, cookies, lights, etc) 4. Lighting of each object in the image is similar 5. None of the pixels were permanently deleted 6. Image is big enough to see what is going on 7. Each of the following are turned in: -PSD of your decorated living room with all its layers, -JPEG, PNG, or GIF of your decorated livingroom -the un-decorated living room image you used
